Benjamin joined e3communications in 2005 and has an intimate knowledge of public relations and publicity management which he gained from working for some of the nation’s largest and most recognizable brands. He manages an array of different clients that he provides counsel to in media relations, crisis communications, social media, media training, community relations, integrated marketing, corporate citizenship planning and brand reputation.
Prior to joining e3communications, Benjamin worked for the public relations division at Stern Advertising in Cleveland, OH, where he was responsible for managing public and media relations programs. His clients included, McDonald’s Restaurants of Northeast Ohio, Things Remembered and Pearle Vision. Benjamin also provided public relations support for other agency clients including Sterling, Inc. (parent company of Kay Jewelers), Clear Channel Entertainment and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
Benjamin was accepted into the prestigious Client Services and Promotions Fellowship program at Disney Sports Attraction in Orlando, FL. He provided media and community relations services to the Client Services & Promotions Department for a number of special events including the Tiger Woods Coca Cola Junior Golf Classic, Home Depot College Football Awards Dinner, Orlando Magic Media Day, Cleveland Indians spring training season, the Walt Disney Marathon, the FUNAI PGA Tour Classic and many others. He has worked in the world of professional Boxing providing media relations services to Buffalo boxing legend Baby Joe Mesi and working with legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard in a number of his promotional endeavors and boxing events.
Benjamin is a graduate of Clark University, where he received a BA in both History and Psychology. He earned his M.A. in Sports Administration from Canisius College. Benjamin is also civically minded offering his time and expertise to a number of community organizations and causes. He serves on the board of the Learning Disabilities Association of Western New York and the Suneel’s Light Foundation.
